How does SmudgeGuard® work?

SmudgeGuard® acts as a protective barrier for the side of your hand and pinky finger, preventing unwanted smudging while you work. It also reduces friction between your hand and your drawing surface, allowing your hand to glide smoothly across paper or tablets.

What's the difference between the SG1 (1-finger glove) and SG2 (2-finger glove)?

The SG1 covers the pinky finger only, while the SG2 covers both the pinky and ring fingers. The right choice depends on how you draw. If you rest only your pinky on the surface, the SG1 is sufficient. If both your ring finger and pinky make contact, the SG2 offers better coverage and a smoother glide.

Will SmudgeGuard® provide palm rejection?

No. SmudgeGuard® does not offer palm rejection functionality. It will not prevent unintentional inputs from your hand on a tablet.

Can it be worn on either hand?

Yes. SmudgeGuard® is designed to be worn on either the left or right hand.

What is SmudgeGuard® made of?

SmudgeGuard® is made from a nylon-and-spandex blend. Similar to the fabric used in swimwear and activewear. The material is soft, snug-fitting, tablet-safe (scratch-free), and designed for smooth, friction-free movement.

Will it prevent graphite , ink or charcoal smudges on paper?

No. SmudgeGuard® is not designed to prevent graphite, ink or charcoal smudges on paper surfaces. Please take the usual precautions when working on art paper.

How does it help Wacom tablet users?

SmudgeGuard® eliminates the hand friction and sticking that occur when your hand sweats against a tablet surface. It keeps your hand gliding freely, improves drawing accuracy, and helps keep your tablet screen clean from oils and moisture.

Should I use separate gloves for traditional and digital drawing?

Yes. If you work with both a pencil and a digital tablet, we recommend using a separate glove for each to prevent graphite from transferring onto your tablet or stylus.

How should SmudgeGuard® Fit?

It should feel snug and comfortable. It shouldn’t feel tight or restrictive. If you experience any discomfort, stop use immediately. We offer exchanges and full refunds within 30 days of purchase.

What is the build quality like?

Each SmudgeGuard® glove is machine-sewn with precision and individually inspected before shipping. We hold every glove to strict quality control standards to ensure consistency and durability.

Should I measure my left hand if I'm left-handed?

You can measure either hand. Most people's hands are nearly identical in size. The sizing guide defaults to the right hand for convenience, but measuring your dominant hand is perfectly fine.

What if I order the wrong size?

No problem. Contact us by phone or email, and we'll arrange an exchange right away. 

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. We offer USPS Priority Mail and USPS Priority Express Mail for faster delivery. Please email us to arrange this option. 

Do you ship to APO addresses?

Yes, we ship to APO addresses. 

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to most countries. A few exceptions and notes:

• Spain & Brazil — We do not ship directly to these countries. Please check our list of authorized resellers.

• UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, and Iran — We ship via USPS Priority Mail International for added security.
